DOT Regulated Testing

DOT recognizes that compliance may not be possible in all areas during this COVID-19 uncertainty. You should make a reasonable effort to locate resources and have the test performed. ASAP can help you navigate this uncertainty and help keep you covered now and later. For example, ASAP can help you pull additional random selections to keep you in compliance for the end of year statistics.

Managing Your Roster

ASAP can help you manage your roster during the COVID-19 pandemic. For staff reductions, furloughed or laid off workers should be either kept on the roster with their status changed to “Inactive Retest,” or removed from the roster and placed in the “awaiting assignment” pool. This will eliminate them from missing a random selection; however, they are still subject to random testing in the “awaiting assignment” pool.

For over 18 years, OSCA has developed efficient and cost-effective company orientation and safety training programs. We have a variety of training options including instructor-led in-person and computer-based training (CBT).

During COVID-19 the health and safety of our clients is the utmost priority. We have taken additional precautions to mitigate the spread of the virus.

Social Distancing

We have decreased class sizes and increased distances between training stations and lab spaces to allow for at least 6 feet of separation between trainees.

Increased Cleanliness

After each use, all stations (including computer screens, keyboards, and mice) will be disinfected following CDC guidelines. In addition, we are alternating use of training stations to provide additional sanitization time.

COVID-19 Signage

Signage will be placed at the entrance and waiting areas to provide education about hand hygiene, cough etiquette, updates on COVID-19, and self-reporting criteria for symptoms of flu-like or COVID-19 like conditions.

Staff Training

Our staff has received training on the symptoms of COVID-19 by healthcare professionals. We have updated our protocols to postpone training or testing for trainees showing symptoms, and implemented safety criteria for rescheduling. Training fees will be fully re-funded.
